Hi! I'm Rachel, and I swear in sessions and greatly appreciate dark humor. If you also swear and tend to save unconventional memes in your phone, then we might be a good fit. There is no need to mask in our sessions because life is hard enough already, and I know that you've had to do a lot of masking up to this point. All of your parts of self are welcome here, especially parts of you that you might feel ashamed of and not want anyone to know about. Taking on a collaborative approach, we will work together to carve out your best life-- and perhaps in the process, you will find out that you really are ok the way that you are.
Professionally, I integrate traditional psychotherapy services with non-traditional therapies and approaches. I am a certified yoga teacher RYT-200 and a Reiki practitioner and take on a holistic outlook to treating body, mind, and soul. I embrace an empowering, strength-based, and eclectic approach, when working with clients and operate under a harm reduction, trauma-informed model.
I have a broad skill set including but not limited to: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Mindfulness/Meditation, Motivational Interviewing, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and I am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
As a client, it is super important for us to use a mix of different approaches to find the best treatment for you because you are not a cookie cutter, and you deserve to have the highest quality of mental health services that fit your uniqueness.
I am dedicated to working with and advocating for all marginalized populations who are underserved and underrecognized in the mental health system including BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities. I work extensively with people of all sexual orientations and preferences and am experienced in working with people who are transgender. I am sex-positive, sex work affirming, queer affirming, and asexual affirming. I am BDSM/kink friendly and knowledgeable and also work with “non-normative” alternative relationship formations including ethical non-monogamy /polyamorous.
I welcome all atheists, agnostics, and people with non-conforming spiritual practices. I am open to beliefs relating to mysticism, supernatural, paranormal, the Occult, etc. and promise not to think that you are unstable or try to persuade you to change your beliefs.

Personally, I am a member of the 2SLGBTQIA+ and Kink/BDSM community and use she/her pronouns. I identify as neurodivergent and am actively involved in my own therapy and self-development because therapists need therapists, too, right?
I'm obsessed with music, enjoy making random playlists/discovering new bands, and one of my goals in life is to attend as many concerts as possible. I love all things weird and "out-there" and have a decent collection of oddities. I am not home enough to be able to have a pet, but I do consider my ethically-sourced taxidermy as my beloved pets.
